Specialized Carriers
Specialized Carriers are secure transportation and storage units for a number of diverse and unique items used in the offshore oil and gas industry.
Specifically, MK Tech’s specialty carriers were designed to safely move drummed fluids or solids, pressurized gas cylinders or gallon drums and similar products, multiple separate packages of oxygen, acetylene, nitrogen and other similar products, pre-packaged items, IBC transport tanks, subs, personnel, rigging containers, drill pipe and other tubulars, extra-long items, over-width or over-height bulky items such as temporary buildings, oversized spools, chains, anchors, umbilical cords, forklifts, heavy casing and construction materials.

Cuttings & Waste
MK Tech’s Cuttings Boxes and Waste Units are used to transport and store drilling cuttings, liquids, solids, dry materials, rubbish, waste, scarp, soil, tools, tool parts, supplies or recycling items.
Waste Skips & Tool Boxes
Whether you are recycling, dumping, transporting or sorting, MK Tech has a large variety of waste skips to choose from.
Our sealed containers are used to transfer and store waste, municipal waste, scrap and dry materials from offshore platforms, rigs and vessels to a shore base for recycling, sorting or disposal.
Our waste skip is used for sealed transportation and storage of waste, tools, tool parts or any supplies that may require being transported to and from offshore platforms, rigs and vessels to a shore base.
Cuttings Boxes
No matter how your particular cuttings removal system is configured, MK Tech has the right equipment for the job.
Our cutting boxes are designed to readily adapt to a wide variety of closed-loop systems, with user-friendly features that allow easy handling by multiple contractors throughout the delivery-removal cycle. This gives you immense flexibility across your operations while strictly maintaining compliance.
MK Tech maintains a large inventory of cutting boxes in a variety of sizes. Every unit is built for outstanding offshore performance with features such as a rust-resistant galvanized finish, and multiple ports that allow for faster cuttings collection. Our cuttings boxes also have lighter lids – nearly half the weight of many competitors’ boxes.

Tanks
When you need tanks for your operation, we are the company you can count on every time. We offer various styles of fluids tanks in multiple sizes in both vertical and horizontal configurations. We offer a wide selection of fluid transport tanks from mud tanks, fuel tanks, chemical tanks and potable water tanks made with carbon steel, stainless steel or polyethylene. We also carry a wide range of mixing and storage tanks, so you can get all the units you need from one dependable source.
We offer a full line of offshore tanks for fluids collection, storage, transport and disposal. Our tanks are designed for drilling muds, completion fluids, production chemicals, acids, lubricants, aviation fuel, waste oil and waste water. We have the tank assets to support everything from a 10,000 bbl flow back job to something as common as transporting 1,000 gallons of diesel. Fluids Tank sizes vary from 55 gallons to 21,000 gallons.
Depending on the intended contents, we can also add various chemical-resistant liners. Designed for optimal product compatibility, these liners prevent contamination of vital fluid assets.
Mix Tanks
We offer a complete liquid mud plant package, with tanks, drilling fluids mixing systems, with mud/brine hopper tables and pumps.

Fluids Storage Tanks

Mixing Units
Mixing systems used in the oil and gas industry play a very important role in the refining process and we have the mixing units you need to get the job done.
Our mixing units are 25 bbl and 50 bbl, equipped with OSHA approved handrails, centrifugal pumps, and can be lifted from two sides.
Our 25 bbl Electric Mixing Unit is rated “explosion-proof work light” and meets Class I Div II requirements with a 10 hp variable speed blender. Each of our mixing units are unique to meet your specific needs and will be a valuable asset on your job site.
Rotating Equipment
Rotating equipment is the general classification of mechanical components that add kinetic energy to a process in order to move material. This can include pumps, electric mud vacs, steam cleaners, and more. Rotating equipment requires detailed design, testing, installation and maintenance.
